Free Voice Dictation with No Account — Why We Built It That Way

Open a typical AI voice app and the first screen is an account wall. Email, Apple ID, Google, maybe a free trial timer. You wanted to send a message. Instead you are creating a login.

Voicetation takes the opposite bet: free voice dictation, no account, ever.

What “no account” actually means

• Download from the App Store and enable the keyboard
• No sign-up, no profile, no cloud folder of your past messages to manage
• No ads, no tracking pixels on the product for “growth”

You install it the way you install a calculator — not the way you onboard a social network.

Privacy, said precisely

Marketing pages love the phrase “your voice never leaves your device.” That is not our claim.

Dictation uses a secure cloud service for accuracy. What we do commit to:

• We do not store audio on our servers
• One unfinished dictation may stay only on your iPhone for up to 24 hours so you can recover it, then it deletes
• Password fields never reach a third-party keyboard (iOS swaps in the system keyboard)
• No accounts means there is no identity graph tying dictation sessions to an email address we control

If you need fully offline-only recognition for every language, evaluate on-device-only apps. If you want accurate voice dictation in every app with minimal friction, Voicetation is aimed at you.

Free without the dark patterns

“Free” sometimes means “free until the paywall.” Voicetation is a free download with no subscription prompt waiting behind the first dictate.

You still get:

• Continuous dictation until you stop
• Personal dictionary
• Rewrite and translate controls on the keyboard
• 20 languages with auto-detect

Who this is for

• People who refuse another account for a utility
• Anyone comparing Wispr / Aqua / Willow-style keyboards and wanting a no-login option
• Users bouncing off Apple Dictation who still want something simple

Try it without signing up

There is nothing to sign up for. Get Voicetation on the App Store, or try a one-minute browser demo first.
